7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers: Mike Cumberland- President, John Hiser- treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary, Tom Horstman- Trap, Steve Gustkey- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Blk Pwdr & Junior Rifle.

Treasurer’s Report: John read the report.

Bills and Communications: John said normal bills. No communications.

Pop: Steve turned in $14.

Rental Committee Report: SRU May 13,14. May 14, 15 workdays at the club. May 18.

Pistol Team: The pistol team will be shooting on Thursdays, outdoors starting at 5 PM starting the first week of June. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom took in $140, expenses $74.85, kept $19.55, turned in $56. Practice on Tuesdays has started. It cost $3.50 per round of 25 targets. Anyone is welcome to come and shoot.

Black Powder: Mike said the Frolic took in $537, expenses $194, kept $103, turned in $240. The meat shoot took in $280, expenses $200, kept $24, turned in $56. 2nd Sunday of each month 11:00 am are the meat shoots (Black powder, closest to bullseye).

Junior Rifle Team: Mike said due to no turn out this past week he might consider stopping the Junior shoot till later in the year. Shooting will be on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8 pm and only cost $2. Contact Mike Ripley with any questions or interest.

Archery: Eric Beveridge and his boys will be working on building an outdoor archery range this summer.

Fun Indoor Shoot: There will be a scope class and a non-competition class. The fun shoot took in $120, expenses $0, turned in $120. They normally shoot every Monday 10 am-till shooting is done, doors open at 9 am. Everyone is welcome. .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.

Membership: Brian took in $90, key cards $20, maintenance fund $10, general fund $80. 32 new members for 2019, 419 senior life/charter members, 577 total club members.

Old Business: There was a nice turnout of about 40 people for the U.S. Law Shield seminar that was held at the club on April 24. There was positive feedback from the members in attendance that went to the seminar.

New Business: It was brought up that there is a hole in the roof of the rifle building. It appears that someone deliberately shot at the roof. If you know anything about this please talk to one of the board of directors. Don’t be afraid to ask others for their membership cards while being at the club.
